RAW RAW RAW. New craze at the moment is the “Raw food” movement. Basically it doesn’t require cooking- bonus! Raw cooking is actually not cooking but preparing food the best way to contain its nutritional benefits and maintaining the bio availability of macro nutrients increase into your body. Meaning you get the best out of your food that you put into your body. Without all the preservatives and unnatural ways of breaking down the food before it enters you stomach (ie. boiling, roasting, frying, microwaving, steaming etc) I’m sure a lot of people have even experienced when vegetables are over cooked, they are tasteless and without texture! Vegetables are fantastic to create all wonderful treats and nutritious meals for the entire family. Tip: Be adventurous. Try a vegetable you’ve never had or even better, if you know you’ve tried all, discover what combination makes your taste buds explode with new sensations

If you are going to be that person who brings salad to a bbq, make sure it’s a banging salad that all the meat eaters will love. Having more whole grains and vegetables in your life shouldn’t be hard, and it should be delicious. This is a go to salad that has minimal ingredients but packs in a lot of flavour as well as full of goodness. Heirloom tomato salad 250g Heriloom tomatoes (supermarkets often sell packs, alternatively your farmers market) 250 g cherry tomatoes 2 cups brown rice 2 cloves of garlic (crushed) 1 lemon 1 tbsp balsamic Salt and pepper 150 g Goats cheese (optional) 1 handful Mint (chopped) 1 handful Coriander (chopped) EVO oil Read more!

X-training providing “X” factor into your training regime. Exercises that you wouldn’t typically execute by yourself or in a gym environment. Some exercises and X-training tools you may use: Tyres, Bricks, Ropes, Water cans, Sandbags, Boxing Gloves/mitts etc, Kettle bells, Medicine Balls, Dumbbells/barbells, Resistance Bands. BUT BE PREPARED FOR ANYTHING! If it can be lifted or moved?… X-training will find a way into your exercise routine!
That’s the beauty of X-training, it provides the variety of equipment and disciplines so you get stimulating workout without the boredom of pre-choreographed movements and routines. Also training at different locations that will get you out into the fresh air and enjoying our Australian environment.
