Although its initial success was in the rehab, sports medicine and athletic training markets, this functional bodyweight resistance training equipment is safe for users of every age and fitness level. Backed by scientifically sound research since 1974, you now have the opportunity to experience the benefits of gravity training. It is more than just building muscle, it is about training movement.
The Glider allows for multi-planar exercises on one machine and combined with the dynamic pulley system, offers enhanced muscle development, faster toning, increased joint range of motion and improved stability. The full body workouts include unique core and stretching exercises, with a specific focus on challenging muscular strength and endurance. This is achieved by using exercise variations like bi-lateral, uni-lateral, static equilibrium, static holds and pulses to mention a few.
The sessions aim to provide workouts that are time-efficient and effective. In selected body positions on the glideboard, multiple exercises can be executed, targeting various muscle groups to maximize efficiency.
The selection and sequencing of exercises allows for maximum time on the Gravity Glider and minimum time spend modifying body position and incline height (resistance). Individuals are encourage to change incline height to best suit their physical capabilities at any time during the program.
