Since growing up I have always been active and passionate about health and fitness as it has provided me many benefits throughout my life. My objective for exercising was not orientated around body image; it was about feeling happy and healthier. I have always been a fanatic group fitness participator which inspired me to become a health and fitness professional. I had always believed gyms were the “men’s zone” but gaining gym experience has made me appreciate the advantages of weight training, which has been a turning point for me.

Outside of the gym I enjoy doing beach sprints, mountain biking & kayaking with family and friends. I am also a big participator in charity events, I love getting involved and helping raise money for charities that are close to my heart.
I’m big on boxing for fitness it does wonders for your body. You can also release all your frustrations of the day/weeks out. A fitness journey should not be a horrible experience. It’s hard enough with all the pressures around you, losing weight and getting fit t
o have more energy to enjoy your life is what it’s about and it should be somewhat enjoyable. I’m not saying it will be easy because you do have to put the hard work in BUT… my outlook on a fitness journey is about finding something you love and have fun doing. That way you will look forward to each training session and it becomes a part of your life not a chore you have to do.

Personal training is the most rewarding career I have ever endeavoured. Being able to educate and support individuals to live a fit and healthy life is a gift. I love being able to share my knowledge with all my clients, watching each client achieve amazing results makes me an extremely happy and proud trainer.
I have also starting instructing group fitness and running corporate boot camps. These are a fun way to get people motivated. Group training is social, fun and something everyone should give a try. You’ll be surprised at how much you enjoy it. If you need someone to help you achieve your goals whatever they are please come and see me.
